From performing in sold-out stadiums around the world, to producing and arranging for international TV for millions of viewers, to recording billboard hits on award winning albums from his studio, Latin GRAMMY winner Camilo Velandia can use his musical versatility to accommodate to any musical situation.
Camilo has traveled around the world playing sold-out arenas in more than 45 countries. His touring credits include a decade worth of numerous world tours as a sideman for top selling latin artist Julio Iglesias, grammy-winning artist Jon Secada, grammy nominated artist Diego Torres, spanish award winning singer songwriter Natalia Jimenez, flamenco multi-instrumentalist Diego Amador, and has also toured as musical director and guitarist for spanish singer Julio Iglesias Jr. Camilo has also performed along side of artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Luis Fonsi, Camila Cabello, Christina Aguilera, Danna Paola, Bad Bunny, Draco Rosa, Sebastian Yatra, Camilo, Carlos Rivera, Ivy Queen, Daddy Yankee, Juanes, Luis Enrique, Ilan Chester, Ricardo Montaner, Carlos Vives, Sofia Reyes, Alvaro Soler, Pedro Capo, Kany Garcia Abraham Mateo, Ednita Nazario, Alexandre Pires, Jencarlos Canela, Marcos Yaroide, and many more. As a session guitarist, Camilo has recorded on hundreds of commercially released songs, including latin grammy winning and latin grammy nominated albums with artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Bonnie Tyler, Ha*Ash, Sebastian Yatra, Ednita Nazario, Luis Fonsi, Alexander Acha, Jesse y Joy, Gente De Zona, Danna Paola , Pedro Capo, Alejandra Guzman, Carlos Rivera, Carlos Vives, Aymee Nuviola, Farruko, Tito El Bambino, Abraham Mateo, Cabas, Charlie Zaa, Florent Pagny, Tony Succar, and many more. His studio credits also include producing, recording and arranging for television networks like NBC, Telemundo, Univision, and more. Camilo's TV credits include, playing guitar in the houseband for the Latin GRAMMY for the last four years; producing, arranging, recording and mixing for Latin GRAMMY shows like "Ellas", NBC's "Latin Billboard Music Awards", NBC's "La Voz USA", Telemundo's "Asi Se Baila", Univision's "Nuestra Belleza Latina", and playing in the house band for the entire running time of Telemundo's "La Gran Oportunidad", and MEGA TV's hit show "Charytin y Felipe". Through his TV spots, Camilo has worked for artists such as Christina Aguilera, Raphael, Alejandra Guzman, Gilberto Santarosa, Olga Tanon, Cabas, Fanny Lu, and many more. |
